The problem of Bullying here in Peru mainly is not that controversial. But in the past 3 years, the whole society had started to take conscience in this alarming issue.
I read at least 3 times a month but watch the news every Sunday,  and it is a prove that there is a  brand new case of bullying every 6 to 10 months. But, this does not mean that the rate of bullying here in my country is low just because it does not appear in the news. or it is not reported to the authorities if it gets much more serious than it already is.
In Peru, bullying happens to kids from 6 and up, and the majority of the real life cases are a very aggressive type of bullying in which the people involved in the fights end up at the hospital with severe bruises and internal damages.

Another important factor in my country that does not contribute much about bullying is the lack of information and training that the teachers and school staff haves; if they were more prepared to deal with these situations I am sure that the number of cases could reduce. Also, these information needs to arrive as well to the students, so they will learn from little that bullying it is wrong and which are the consequences of it.
